A warm autumnal mix featuring 24 slices of deep, electronic soul covering the dreamy, dubby & melodic.

I’d call it ‘deep house’ (which it is) but the term’s been so bastardised the past few years with a lot of the stuff being passed off in it’s name doing both a massive disservice to real deep house & to many of those who’ve been into the music & sound for longer than when it became a passing bandwagon to hop on until being told to move on & like the next mass marketed ‘big thing’!

Really enjoyed compiling this: music from scene elders including Nick Holder’s DNH label, fellow Canadian Fred Everything, Jimpster (my favourite Freerange release in a long time), Charles Webster & humble Chicago don Anthony Nicholson. In alongside fresh talent including Atjazz’s Cazuma & Andreas, Noha, Yekim & Milan’s Jonny Bee. Also a nice turnout from old friend Tim Deluxe who returns to roots with a solid dub on Strictly Rhythm.
