A special mention to our friend from Melbourne, Mike Steva on the release of his ‘Who Am I’ remix album – packed full of great touches from his peers & going from strength to strength under the solid guidance of Yoruba label head honcho Osunlade. Too many to pick one, so included a few of my favourites.

Likewise, veteran & don of the scene Ron Trent gives light of day to many gems from the Prescription back catalogue via ‘Word, Sound & Power’. Gold for those who missed the music 1st time around & breathing fresh life into timeless music.

Pepe Bradock’s quirky take on Jon Lucien gets a reairing after Rainer Truby reminded me of it over at ‘Celebration of Life & Friends’ in Brussels last month. And many more.

Atjazz closes off the selection with a very tasteful retouch on a favourite Blaze cut.
