Ben Brophy Southport Weekender 49 – Suncebeat Dome Mix
It was an honor to play the Suncebeat Dome at Southport Weekender. Surrounded by 1 of the most clued up music crowds as well as respected heads, I’m not going to lie – I was nervous! But a few tracks in & the sight of so many friends & vibers all smiling, supporting & getting involved soon smoothed the way.
I hope you enjoy the tracks as much as I did playing them. 1 of many special moments was whilst tilting the cap to the scene, playing 1 of the tracks that got me into Deep House – ‘I Got That Feeling’ & the main man KC 6:23 walked in as if bang on cue & encouraged me the whole set.
So much thanks & respect for Alex, Dave, Gavin, Nick, Steve, Kev, Phil & the Southport crew for consistently raising the bar & creating some of the best events in the UK & Croatia, where so many lifelong friends & relationships are forged & of course all who supported.
