Sounds I Feel XVI – Delectronic Soul 3
As always enjoyed selecting this little dose of deepness. Kicking off with one of my favourite S. African producers Da Capo we delve into Jimpster’s new album & his Delusions of Grandeur label plus a couple of Art of Tone’s releases: Elephants I predict to be a track of the summer.
Zulu Mafia take it down before the carnival-tastic samba workout of Tood Terje (which sounded SO good on the beach at GP’s Worldwide Festy). Bahai keeps the latin vibe before Mika Steva’s slammin’ piano groove on Yoruba & Gummitz’s rolling beats. A touch more deepness courtesy of Infected Soul & the unmistakable tones of Diviniti & her words of wisdom in ‘Find Your Light’. A lovely & cheeky retouch of Afronaught’s broken beat anthem ‘Transcend Me’ (courtesy of the talented Jonny Miller) & the old school vibe of ever consistent Fred Everything on Local Talk’s ‘Brothers & Sisters’. And rounding off with my Fusion Cut of ‘Children of the World’
Roll on Suncebeat 😉
